Set in the 1940's in New York. Among the guests are a butcher, pot-washer, bag lady, French chef, glamorous singer, a gangster, a homely cake-baking wife and so on. A group of friends set sail on a luxury cruise in the Mediterranean, but then they discovered secrets about each other they never knew existed. One of them gets killed. The others become suspects.
